I absolutely adore my Weber griddle. It’s exceptionally well-built, with a fantastic grilling surface that cooks exceptionally well. I’ve had a blast using it, and I end up using it quite frequently.
I own 5 different types of bbq's .2 Pellets , Weber Kettle , Natural gas and a propane . I always wanted a griddle so I waited until Weber came out with the ultimate flat top non rust . I bought it 3 weeks ago and since that the bbq's have taken the backseat. It's something you can do so many different meals on , we love it and it drives our neighbors crazy with the smells of maple bacon and sausages Its GREAT
Love it, even heat and really like the 3 burners for different cooking zones. This thing is built very well and should last a very long time, use it a couple times a week.
Fantastic way to cook. Love the rust resistant finish. Cooks evenly and quickly. Would recommend this brand and model over options available from other manufacturers.
I've had the 30" Slate for about a month now and despite the cold weather I've been determined to get plenty of use out of my new griddle.
It's well designed, looks and feels like a quality product. Cooking on it so far has been great. The controls are very adjustable and do what you ask of them. The griddle surface itself is not totally evenly heated - where the three burners run vertically it's always hotter. I like that the grease trap is at the front, making for easy disposal. The foil trays are a bit pricey though. Most of all I like the fact that there has no sign of any rust - time may tell but it's just as Weber promised. I thought the side shelf size was going to be too big but they've proven to be very useful.
So far I've cooked potatoes, chicken, thinly-sliced beef for cheesesteaks, burgers, and lots of different veggies. I sold my kamari and smoker as I needed to downsize. I think the Slate is going to suit most of my outdoor cooking needs.
