[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GRIDDLE is a showstopper! It has both beauty and function. As well as durability. Let me say I am impressed.
First, I was looking for an outdoor griddle after watching my extended family work their culinary making on a Blackstone. Buuuutttt...the Blackstone, while a solid outdoor product, does not have a lid, leaving the griddle exposed to the elements. And where I live the pollen is flying right about now and I certainly don't want that in my food. So my search began. Annndddd ended up on laying my eyes on the Weber Griddle. Not only is this solid, like a Blackstone, but it has a retractable lid. Annndddd that lid goes ALL the way back, keeping it out of the cooking process.
Also, while it was HEAVY to move (The cast iron griddle is 40 pounds on its own!), assembly was pretty simple, taking exactly 51 minutes. (I timed it while my husband put it together.) The wheels are sturdy and roll freely, making it easy to move, as well as lock in place. Also, it has an easy to use grease disposal system which is much nicer than the Blackstone. Overall, I am IMPRESSED! I can cook anything and the cleanup is a SNAP! Which is a win for the working mama. Honestly this is so much more versatile than a grill. Don't get me wrong. I have my eye on a Weber grill too. But for now, this meets all my needs and then some. Thank you Weber for making such a reliable and good looking product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This griddle is amazing! From the moment you unbox the Griddle you know you have a quality product, everything was packaged extremely well, assembly was simple and all pieces went together without any issues. The igniter is instant as you turn the dial and the burners light right up. This griddle gets hot! Even on low it’s plenty hot to put a great seer on your steaks etc. The heat is well distributed across the griddle. Overall we absolutely love it, could not find a single complaint whatsoever and are excited to cook on this as much as we can!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was relatively easy to put together, no nuts to have to deal with!! It’s very heavy and took some time to set up, but easy nonetheless. I am very impressed with the quality of this grill!! Very excited to cook some amazing meals. The griddle heats up quickly and evenly. I haven’t found any obvious cold spots, or uneven heat distribution as of yet. I am so happy with this product!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been toying around with the idea of getting a fat top grill, and was super excited to try the Weber. It features their new slate griddle, which is actually carbon steel. The cooking surface is pre-seasoned and ready to cook on right out of the box. I was able to assemble the grill solo, a second set of hands might have been helpful for some steps. Overall very high quality and solid feeling steel used throughout. Hinges are heavy-duty and feel smooth when opening and closing the lid. The griddle is heated by three burners with independent control knobs. There’s plenty of counter space provided beneath and on the attached side tables. The right table insert can be removed for use with Weber Works accessories. The drip pan is easily accessible in the front lower left. Overall, it is a fantastic grill and I would highly recommend it.
Had an 36” Blackstone, and there are so many frustrating things about them. I absolutely love this Weber Slate Griddle. It is built like a tank, cooks very evenly, solved a lot of the issues other griddles face, and just feels ultra premium in every respect.
My ONLY gripe, is that you can’t use the nice heavy lid while cooking, but there isn’t a griddle on the market that does.
Assembly was easy to follow, and I would definitely recommend having someone help you. I did it by myself, but there were 2-3 times I wished I had someone there to help lift things into place.
First cook was Chop Cheese, and I didn’t season it first, food stuck which is kinda what I expected but it was still a delicious meal! Seasoned it 4 times after I cleaned it, avocado oil, and now it’s just amazing.
1,000% recommend this griddle. I am done searching!!!
