Best grill or griddle that we've ever owned!!

This is a phenomenal product. You can cook straight out of the box. We cook everything on it from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We sold our grill because we never use it anymore.

Great unit, just struggle with the grilling surface and non stick. Follow directions from Weber and You Tube, but hit and miss. Lots of great features with flip up table and ability to have a cutting board built into the side table.

I just purchased the 36" slate griddle and I gotta say this was the easiest piece of equipment that I put together. It was well thought out and everything lined up perfectly. Very helpful that there were no missing parts. 45 minutes after assembly I was cooking. Plenty of cooking surface and cleanup was a breeze. Hope to get a lot of use this summer. Now to explore some recipes.

I purchased the Weber 36” Slate griddle and have had it a few weeks now and my wife and I love it,its build is second to none.
My Weber Genesis grill I bought in 2007 still works like a champ so I know I can trust Weber for its quality and durability.When I make a purchase I want to buy something once and not have worry about it rusting every time we want to use it so quality is the standard and Weber delivers I bought the griddle and it’s accessories straight from Weber so there was no middle man.
We are rediscovering cooking again and love to use the Griddle!

I've been researching griddles and decided to go with Weber because of many great reviews by 'influencers'. If you're familiar with Weber product you know they are more expensive, but typically built like a tank, great packaging and great instructions. Just a good quality product.
I got the griddle assembled without any issue and I was ready to go. To make sure I was starting on the right foot I decided to do a seasoning even thought it's not necessarily required for this particular griddle. Seasoning went fine.
Now time to cook. We cooked meat and vegetables to make philly cheese steaks. The cooking was fantastic even though this was my first time using a griddle. The heat across the entire griddle was even.
The issue came about when I was doing cleanup. As I was using the griddle scraper to remove left over food and grease I found two spots like small dimples on the griddle surface that seem to be manufacturing defects. At first I thought they were stuck on food pieces. But after looking closely and scraping more I realized they are like two bumps sticking up in the cast iron. So much so that it stops the scraper if I push down too hard. So now I have to work around those two spots when I'm cleaning up.
If not for those two dimples in the cast iron this would be a five star griddle, even considering Weber's prices are much higher than competitive brands.
I guess I'll have to live with the dimples even though it kind of irks me considering I spent a good amount of money on the unit.
Would I buy it again? Probably considering this unit seems to get the highest ratings of pretty much any griddle on the market. I just wish I didn't have to deal with these two bumps. in the cast iron.

For the longest time I have had different grills and I finally made the leap to the griddle. If you have the space the 36" is so nice to have and gives you plenty of cooking surface. The fact that this thing doesn't rust, is so easy to clean, and actually looks great makes it worth every penny. I highly recommend this. We have been cooking so many meals on it now!
