[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this grill. At first I was afraid it was going to be too much grill. It's only my wife and I usually, but even if we arent hosting a party regularly the amount of time this saves on meal prep for the week is wonderful. Cooking meat for 10 meals in a skillet multiple times? No thanks. One shot. Done. Also because its a big grill with 4 burners the sear I can get on this model compared to a 3 burner flat top I had is (i think) noticeably better. It shrugs off that temperature drop at the start of cooking like a champ. It will probably use slightly more propane with 4 burners but I think because of the heat and size of this beast it will let you get it done quicker so I imagine it will balance out. The drop-in options for the sideboards are neat but I wasnt able to get ahold of one for my grill, but I plan to do so. The spring scale for the propane tank is neat and appears fairly accurate. I really like the built in temperature probe a lot. I like to know I'm at 450° before i start! The storage underneath is roomy. I guess I'll have to get a few more grilling utensils. After a month of on and off wet weather under a cover there is zero rust anywhere. On my previous grill it would have rusted by this point even with a cover. All in all I am incredibly happy with this grill.

We used this all Labor Day weekend and was so great to make our "whole" supper for our family. Meat, fries and veg's and had plenty of room. There was 7 of us. The side trays are sweet and easy to fold in. Great for our river weekend outings. Love it and my grills from Weber too!

Very impressed with the structural soundness of this griddle. Assembly took some time, but not overly difficult. Have used several times since purchase - smash burgers, shrimp, philly cheesesteak, bacon, chicken breasts, grilled cheese. Very even cooking, much on medium heat (which heats to approximately 380 degrees). High settling heats up to over 500 degrees. Griddle is flexible with 4 burners, allowing desired heat or warming areas. Nice to be able to essentially move the kitchen outdoors! Wonderful griddle. No rust. Easy cleaning. Weber is to let me know when the Slate cover becomes available,
I did A LOT of research on this comparing all the flattops on the market. This hands down has lived up to everything I could have ever asked for. After a lot of use, I can tell you that you will love the side tables, the organization of everything and all the extras that you can get with it. If you are on the fence of what flattop to get, get the Slate! Also, one fun feature I love is the propane tank holder. It is calibrated to tell you the level of gas you have left.
Two things that I would like to see upgraded down the road. 1. a closable lid while cooking for steaming needs. 2. just remove the thermostat feature because it's not accurate. It's an idea but not on point.
My first full sized griddle and extremely impressed. The cooking surface is huge and handles all of the dishes I previously struggled to not make a mess cooking on a traditional stove. Assembly was straight forward and timely. I seasoned my grill despite it coming ready to cook. I use it approximately every third day and really enjoy finding new recipe suggestions. Top-notch smash burgers, fried rice, chicken fajitas, cheesesteak sandwiches, and Mongolian Beef are all a hit with the family. Clean up is easy and I store under the optional cover on my covered patio. Only consideration: this thing is big and takes up space. Not a negative just beware if you are tight on storage area.
