It heats fine and cooks fine. It is a hassle compared to a normal grill for cleanup and use. I don't use it that often because of this.

Weber 36” Slate Giant Griddle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! I have no words for what I received from Influenster! I have lots of BBQs so I wasn’t super excited but then we began putting it together and realized it is a GIANT griddle! OMG!! You can cook almost anything on this! We cooked sliced potatoes, steaks, and onions all at the same time and they were amazing. No seasoning of the griddle required but I did wipe it down before use. The griddle is massive and weighs a ton! This is like a professional set up! I am in shock what an amazing product. It comes with a 5 year warranty! This is a class act griddle all the way! It cost $1,000 but will probably last a lifetime! I would highly recommend if you throw parties or have a family Iike we do! I can cook everything at the same time and save time! This is a heavy duty griddle not cheaply made at all. This is probably the best griddle I have ever seen and will ever own!!! Just amazing!!! Quality, quality, quality!!! It took about an hour to put together. Needed two people as the top and griddle were super heavy. Easy directions and easy to use!! Thank you for this product!!!!!!❤️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Weber Slate 36” Griddle complimentary from "Weber " and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
Let’s start off with the packaging, it’s around 270lbs packaged and shipped to your desired location. Weber did a wonderful job packaging this Griddle as everything was in prefect shape.
Building this griddle was very easy as it only required a Philips screw driver and a helper for some lifting. The instructions were spot on with very helpful photos that made this build a complete success!
I ended up seasoning the griddle with the provided instructions. The Heat stayed on the griddle and didn’t transfer anywhere else on the griddle making it very safe!
If you’re looking for a quality built griddle to feed the whole family look no further than this rust resistant Slate Griddle from Weber!

THE BEAST OF ALL GRIDDLES!! YOU NEED THIS!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I can say is WOW!! Thank you Influenster and Weber for giving me an opportunity to use and review such a mind blowing griddle!! This griddle is absolutely unbelievable and a must have for every home! It has a MASSIVE griddle top with 756 square inches of carbon steel that’s rust resistant with plenty of space to cook all your favorite foods for the whole family. It has all the bells and whistles you could ever need from storage, XL side tables for food prep, grease slots with XL drip pan, hinged lid with wind guards to ensure perfect cooking temperatures, built in temperature gauge and 4 independent burners for different surface temps. I have owned and used many grills and griddles this is by far superior to all of them. If you are in the market for a griddle DEFINITELY give this a try you will not be disappointed! Weber customer for LIFE!!

Weber never diasppoints; their Flat Top Griddle is second to none

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Weber 36” griddle easily gets 5 stars. Upon receipt, I found the instructions for assembly very easy to follow. It took about 90 minutes to assemble with two people. One person could likely do it and take a bit longer , but the griddle top is large and heavy so would recommend two people for that part. It is easy to turn on and has great heat distribution across the griddle top. I waited to review so we could cook a couple things on there to ensure we liked it. We have made smash burgers and fried rice and all came out great! We have had a high end flat top from another manufacturer and can easily say this one is the best. It also features plenty of area for food prep/tools which comes in very handy. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a flat top griddle!

Better than a grill!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Weber Slate 36 is amazing! This is the first griddle I’ve ever owned but have always wanted one to make bacon and smash burgers on. After using it for a week, I’m sold. The heating is consistent and the griddle is easy to clean even after cooking things like bacon and hamburgers.
The assembly does take some time. It’s not difficult or challenging. It just takes longer than the 36 minutes the instructions suggest. It took me about an hour and a half.
I love the gauge that tells you how much gas is left in your propane tank. Game changer!
Overall, I’m completely sold on this griddle and look forward to making many more things for my family.
