The grill heats up quickly and has plenty of grilling space. Howqever, we don't like how when we grill burgers, flames shoot up, no matter how low we set the flame. It's worse with frozen burgers, but happens with thawed ones, too.
This is the heaviest duty portable grill i have ever seen. One strongish person can move it, but you wouldn't want to carry it far. I love the ability to modulate the temperature. With the two control knobs for outer and inner lines of flames, and the thermostat showing the temperature inside the grill, I even baked rolls in it last night! It is surprisingly easy to keep the temp constant! Aside from that, the clicker flame starter works instantly. Im also able to achieve the rather low heat needed to cook delicate salmon. All in all- very happy with this grill.
Excellent small grill! We use it on our camping trips. Lightweight, easy to carry, Cooked on it six times already, and the results are perfect. Steaks, burgers, hotdogs, chicken, all come upgreat!
I’ve owned Weber grills all my life, my father used a Weber. This purchase was an upgrade from a smaller Q series grill. I also purchased the griddle which I really enjoy. Weber products are very reliable and they stand by their name.
Everything I have cooked in this has worked out very well. Steady temperature. Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean. My only disappointment is when it is windy, the temperature struggles to exceed 500°F. My pizzas took longer, not a deal breaker. I don't use the side tables. I find them a bit flimsy. I bought a 36" sturdy table. Overall, I recommend this if you are in a tight space.
It's OK and great for grilling a burger. It's not a Genesis or Summit though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
