I have wanted a Lego Jaws set for as long as I can remember! The set was incredible! There are many adults like myself that grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. If you keep releasing these classic horror sets, we WILL buy them, guaranteed! The Overlook Hotel from The Shining, Camp Crystal Lake from Friday the 13th, Micheal Myers' house from Halloween, The Nostromo from Alien, etc... there are so many of us that would buy every single one of these sets!

This is my first Lego set in over 50 years. Jaws is my favorite movie so I had to get it. The set is awesome I think Lego nailed it.

I have so many LEGO kits, both built and yet to be built, that I'm running out of room to put them, but I just HAD to have this one. One of my favorite movie scenes VERY well represented in this kit.

I'll start with the bad and it's a very short list: My primary complaint with this build is the front of the boat. You build a triangular support piece and the sides attach to it and its very fragile and only being held on with 1 stud and when placing the sides on it, it can come undone and there is no way to fix it without taking apart the entire structure and rebuilding it, so I applied too much pressure when putting a side on and sure enough the stud in the middle came undone and I ended up building the whole bag twice so that was frustrating. That's it, that's my only complaint.
The Good: This set is truly spectacular. The pictures simply don't do it justice. This is a set that you need to build and see in person to truly appreciate how beautiful it really is. Every detail is just spot on. This set is also a lot bigger then the pictures make it look so make sure you have a good sized spot to put it. I don't think they could have come up with a better Jaws set. It's exactly what it needs to be. The price is worth every penny, so do yourself a favor and grab this set!

The build look great once it is built. The only issue is when you start to build the boat the two pieces to hold the whole front of the boat together keep falling apart. It helps to take the bottom of the boat off and fix it until you secure the rest of the build.
The the mini figures are great and shark is fantastic. The way the build is made it is amazing. I love how you can transform the shark on the bass to attack the boat. I love it.

Tricky but fun

Had to add this one to my collection. We met Roy Scheider every Thanksgiving at the same hotel in Connecticut. He was a really nice person and very down to earth. Part of the reason behind the purchase. I was somewhat disappointed in the strength of the boat construction. When assembled it is a bit weak and you must be careful with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
