[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've built over 100 sets & have a designated Lego room. Jaws was enjoyable to build. The instructions pages were difficult to read when pieces & background were the same color. I was disappointed that the boat does not fit in the platform or anchor to it- just looks unfinished after such a pretty platform is provided. Some of the pieces around the front curved bow of the ship are not provided enough backup support and loosen easily. I would like Shark to have a few larger teeth. This set has so many details, it does not really lend itself to play because items start dropping off, like finishing pieces on the bottom of the ship, mast ropes, weaken bow area under the barrel deck. Beautiful Set though, I love it!

I am a child of the 80s so this set was so fun, jaws was my first "scary" movie. This was a fun build. As always Lego instructions were clear to me.

Biggest issue is the way the one must put the boat together why, it's aggravating and the boat does not seem like one boat looks odd.
2) is why does the rear of the shark look the way it does. Looks odd, kind of a disappointment.

Have loved the movie as long as I’ve been alive and to see a set so lovingly built to honor one of my all time fave movies is a real treat. The multiple display options are great, the minifigs are top notch and Bruce the shark is just phenomenal. The Orca shines in its build style and I love the little nods inside the cabin. All around great set and I’m over the moon to have it for display and play.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been waiting for this set for a while. It was definitely a fun build. Glad it became an lego IDEA.. Maybe lego should come out with other JAWs Lego sets.

Being a lifelong fan of the movie, this is by far my favorite set, after 40+ years of building LEGO. All of the little details are there, and there are many opportunities to adjust the build to make it your own MoC. 5 Stars!
