Blew my mind

This Lego set blew my mind just like Jaws gets blown out of the water by Roy Scheider at the end of the movie. It was fun to build and makes a really cool display.

Fun set to build however, like many reviews have said, the bow of the boat is poorly designed. The pieces on the side of the hull are not anchored very well and do fall off with a small amount of pressure. The ropes are tricky to get the length correct, too tight and they pull the mast sideways, too loose and the ropes fall off the pulleys. The shark could have used more teeth in my opinion but overall a great set if you plan to display it and not physically play with it.

I love Lego and the movie Jaws. I was so excited to get this set. When I got to the bow part my enthusiasm went out the window. It kept falling apart. When you tried to snap the pieces together another one would fall off. I took it apart three times and finally I put it back in the box in frustration. I have never not finished a Lego set but this one I will not. What I hoped would be a fun build turned out to be too frustrating and frankly a loss of my money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really enjoyed this build until I got to the bow. Just like many other reviews, the blue blocks "crushed" me. I was skillful enough the complete the bow without frustration, but then, just like the shark, it came out of nowhere! The Blue brick of doom! I only had trouble with one, but it forced me to rebuild the bow four times. The bricks just do not fit right. I am curious if the designers got it right the first time every time. Several times I said to myself "did they do this on purpose to make me frustrated?" I finally completed the build, and I would recommend the set, but not the design team. Sorry, I am sure they are lovely people, but someone dropped the block on this one.

The worst building experience ever

Not sure how bag 4 got through QA but the bow build was horrible. Any hint of force to get the bow to stick to the base causes the whole thing to break apart. I thought it was me but after seeing the reviews it’s clearly a design flaw. I wish I could return this. I have built every soccer stadium and other complex designs and had a blast. This was outright expensive torture. Lastly, enough with the stickers. You have already proven capable of painting on the blocks. The stickers make it look and feel cheap
