Spectacular set!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I’m speechless! This set is so detailed and awesome. It includes 8 mini figures including Zero, the dog. So many unique pieces in this set like spooky jackolanterns, gravestones, and perfectly placed landscape pieces. This is the most difficult set we’ve put together yet. My son is 8 and pretty great at legos and there was times he got “bored” putting this set together. I think it was just a little too much for him, he needed a lot of parent assistance. The set is VERY fragile compared to other sets we have done.

Disappointed with this set

This is an amazing set, The nightmare before Xmas set, but the card board for the moon is horrible. It DOES NOT GO WITH THE LEGO PIECES. Looks tacky and for the price it's expensive if I'm paying for card board.

The Moon ruined it for me

Another missed opportunity for Lego, cool set but the moon ruined it, it should have been buildable and glow in the dark, be more innovative LEGO. Cardboard moon cutouts isn’t the way.

Not up to Lego standard

I was extremely excited when I heard that this set was finally going to get made. Obviously this review of the set in its current iteration will not mention the overwhelming disappointment in the lack of Oogie Boogie. I will focus my discussion on the huge disappointment in the mini figures that were included. The three trick-or-treaters are the laziest mini figures design I have ever seen. Lock has a plain red torso and kid legs with no printing at all. Shock has similar generic features but at least it is a nice purple. The mayor is the biggest disappointment of all. He can barely be categorized as a mini figure since he is so brick-built. His head does not spin. You would have to take it off to change the face. The hat is so poorly designed it falls apart with the slightest touch.

This set is absolutely missing the Oogie Boogie character. I considered not buying for this reason but I hope that my family will appreciate it anyways. I'm sure Lego will add him in a later set later on... High hopes but he was an prominent character that is missing.

Lots of pieces and fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed with how detailed this Nightmare Before Christmas set was! With over 21,000 pieces it took me about 4 to 5 hours to complete. I like that there was a separate book for each building, it made breaking it up into smaller sections to do much easier. There are so many characters and each building has fantastic details. I hope to see Oogie Boogie and his lair someday!

It's was easy to build but it would have been nice if the company sent all the pieces. I was not even half way through the build and I was already missing 5 pieces.

Piece missing and overpriced

This is way overpriced and for the first time I’m unhappy with a Lego purchase. There is also a main piece missing. The banner from bag 4. I’m sad to say how disappointed my son and I are with this. This was a Lego set we’ve been anticipating.
