So Fun!

I loved putting together this set. It has a ton of hidden details than can be moved around on the build to decorate for either Halloween or Christmas. I purchased this to display with my other Disney sets in the office and love how it adds to my collections as a more complex and adult piece.
Working on set for about a month still not done. This set absolutely sucks to build, no interest of continuing this build, stopping at bag 6 to shove into closet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We Iove this movie and I eagerly awaited this release but held off for a long while on purchasing. Might have been because I wasn't sure how I'd actually like it in real life. Had to stop by the LEGO store before vacation and there it was.... Time to bite the bullet! There's a lot of great details here and everyone loves the final product. Yes, it's not a cheap set but for three scenes with playability features and specialty mini figs seems like a good value to me particularly with the high prices LEGO goes for now. Lock, Shock and Barrel look great and the Sally fig is awesome. The original fan design was big and a great homage to the film but of course some concessions had to be made. The only two changes I'd wish for are an actually spinning head for the Mayor and for the hill to be able to unfurl. The former is no big deal - can take care of that on my own but seems like such a simple upgrade to make. The latter... The hill looks great as is - in fact, much better than the segmented original and I don't know how LEGO could make it work but this also seems like it could have been a feature. I also was nervous about the non-attached roof panels but they sit nice and look great. And it does make it easy to access the seasonal decorations!
I enjoyed building this but was a little frustrated at some things. The two fabric pieces (pumpkin banner & Jacks skirt) were in a tiny brown envelope that was attached to the inside of the box. Was almost in the trash before I found it. The directions have no mention of this. Also the tree parts fall off VERY EASILY and so do several other components. Overall it’s very cute though!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s never fun when things don’t work the way they should. Make sure each part is positioned exactly as shown in the instructions and that everything is pressed together firmly. If you’d like a hand troubleshooting the build, feel free to reach out at LEGO.build/Service‑BV, we’re happy to help!
This set is such an incredible disappointment. Honestly, the worst one of all that I have. The building process was annoying as there were either missing pieces, extra pieces for unknown use, incorrectly colored pieces or everything just falls apart because there aren’t enough connectors. It is the first set that I have where the roof is not connected to the building itself and thus is very flimsy and moves around a lot. The one on the main house also has to be adjusted otherwise you won’t be able to fit both sides. Another thing that I didn’t quite understand is the necessity to put a huge amount of items inside every single room. It comes to a point where it’s hard to either attach outer panels or just looks very overcrowded.

We’re sorry to hear this set was disappointing, that’s not the experience we want for our builders! It's a very detailed display set, which means assembly can sometimes be tricky, with lots of pieces and careful placement needed to bring the scene to life. We understand how frustrating it can be when pieces feel like they don’t fit, colors seem off, or panels are tricky to attach. Despite these challenges, we hope you were still able to enjoy building and seeing Jack Skellington’s spooky world come together. Thank you for sharing your feedback, it helps us continue to create sets that are fun and rewarding for our fans.
