The Nightmare before Christmas is a cult animation in the US that a lot of families watch at Halloween time. This set represents very well the movie, the ambiance, and the Halloween spirit. It makes for a great seasonal display during the fall season, and it makes me smile every time I look at it.
My kid loves to play with it and recreate several scenes / songs as well. Not something she can disassemble and recreate but play value is still here.
I highly recommend it.

I only bought this set because the movie is my youngest Child's favorite of all time. I had no desire to build it but it's out of my child's building skill so I gave it a shot and I actually really enjoyed building it. The figures are super accurate to the movie and the setting was also extremely accurate and well thought out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed with how detailed this Nightmare Before Christmas set was! With over 21,000 pieces it took me about 4 to 5 hours to complete. I like that there was a separate book for each building, it made breaking it up into smaller sections to do much easier. There are so many characters and each building has fantastic details. I hope to see Oogie Boogie and his lair someday!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had full intentions posting a picture of this done, but my youngest threw a ball at it and pieces went everywhere. 🥲 But, this build was so much fun! My husband and I used it as a date night idea and spent some quality time together building each piece together. This was also such a HUGE surprise to get. The pieces were easy to put together and the instructions were so much better than what we had been used to when it came to Legos. ☺️ Definitely worth getting and building. Whether on your own or with someone else!
