I really enjoyed this set if you're a fan of NBC. The movie is one of my favorites, and now that there's a set, I want more. It was easy to build, but there were a lot of smaller pieces. Each building is a separate build, and then all three clip together. You can display them as a set or separately. The only disappointment for me was the absence of Oogie Boogie. Hopefully, they will create a companion set with Oogie and his lair.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Legos

My family and I are big fans of the Nightmare Before Christmas and Halloween so we were very excited to buy this one. We are having a lot of fun putting it together. The directions are good but there are times where the angle of the picture could be better. Also I really like the trees but they do tend to drop their branches when being handled. All of that is minor as the set looks great in person and will be on display always in our house.

Recommend But Not to Play With

I would definitely recommend this build for NBC fans. It was fun to build, but there were a few disappointments. There are a number of pieces that are hidden which didn't make sense to me since you would have to take the house off the foundation to even see them. Paying for pieces you can't see was a little disappointing especially since the set is fragile in my opinion and not one that you can play with without it falling apart. The top half of Jacks house is barely secure and if not careful will come apart. The black rounded parts of the cemetery are not secure and will fall off easily. Also, the black shiny pieces for the roof and cemetery scratch easily and taking them out of the bag there were a number of scratches on many pieces. Although I enjoyed the build I feel it should have had a lower price point.

Really liked the minifigs, colors and design concept, but the Town Hall in particular is almost impossible to move without the structure breaking. The baseplate to this structure needs more reinforcement - two small red disks along one seam line, for instance, is inadequate and does not support the build. I’ve assembled many Lego kits and always appreciated the thought that has gone into the design. This one deserved better testing.

This set is perfect as a display piece. Most of the build was a lot of fun with a couple of very repetitive and hard to follow parts building walls and paths. The mini figures for lock shock and barrel are very disappointing. I would’ve at least expected a tail to complete the devil costume and the hairpiece is also very generic. I’m very ambivalent about the brick built mayor as well. I’m actually totally fine with the moon being not brick built as it is visually stunning.

This was such a cute build!!!! The little touches here and there are wonderful. I do wish that the would have another Zero in the set since he is such a unique piece. It would suck so bad to lose it. Also missed opportunity with not including Oogie Boogie as a mini fig. Besides that the build was so much fun to put together .
