I had a lot of fun putting this together. I loved the precision and thought needed for the launch tower, as well as all the little details that bring the build to life. I loved the little fun facts and messages they had throughout the instruction book. overall a great build.
This set was fun to put together. Total time to assembly was around 9 hours. I do wish it came with minifigs with the artemis space suit. Also i felt that the name and details should have been painted on the pieces instead of the stickers. It seems cheap to use stickers when you are paying so much for a set. The foot print to display is 12 inches by 13 inches so it does take up a lot of space especially considering its almost 3 feet tall. Overall its a great set!

I am happy with this set, the launchpad base building was really fun, however there was a confusing picture in one of the earlier bags. The bottom of the tower was fun and cool to build, but from bag 15 to the end of 18 was very repetitive, and I was glad to be done with it. From that point on, my only negative was the stickers, as some were small and hard to place. When I was on the fence about asking for this for Christmas, I looked at the reviews, and they made it seem way worse than it was. I loved the occasional fact that was included, and the rocket building was fun. (Just a little flimsy at first). Overall, this is a great set, and if you are on the fence, get it. (do not sue me please :D) Overall rating: 4.5 out of 5. Love the detail.
Love the rocket/launch tower. It is a beautiful display set. I had to have it and no regrets displaying it. My complaints will not be noticed by my friends and guests. 1) Stickers OMG!!! LEGO, how did you not print NASA??? 2) Gaps in the support struts. This is horrible. I will be figuring out a way to fix this. The Eiffel tower had gaps too, but not this bad. People complain about the repetitive build of the tower. Well, it is a tower, duh!
This is possibly the biggest set I've built. I love the realism and attention to detail within the build as well as the removable rocket, moveable service arms, and miniature satellite. My one complaint is how repeatative the tower is,got kinda bored building it but when it comes to these taller sets, it's kinda unavoidable.
