Not a Space Kit. It's a Scaffolding Kit

This kit isn't a good experience. I love space. NASA was one of my favorite places to visit when I was younger, but this kit is all scaffolding and the base. Thousands of grey bricks over and over again in the most mundane way possible. I don't recommend it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Adding to the rocket collection

Very nice and realistic Artemis rocket and launch pad/tower. Took me a few weeks of intermittent work to complete. Very happy with the result and fits in nicely with my Apollo Saturn V and ISS sets.

Great addition to the collection

I'd been waiting on this one to be available for purchase for quite some time. As soon as it was available via backorder I jumped on it. The set arrived in approximately 10 days.
I'm a "must jump right in and start building" type of hobbyist, so it should come as no surprise that on day 1 I spend hours on it.
The set assembles very well, and while there is quite a bit of repetition, the experience was still fantastic. And having been enamored with space travel since Challenger, there was quite a bit of excitement adding Artemis to the collection.
Overall, due to the size of it, there is a bit of wobble when moving it, but I think that actually plays into the sturdiness (if that makes sense). It looks great on my shelf and is already quite the conversation piece.
I'd 10/10 recommend it for space enthusiasts, and I'd give it a 8/10 if you just want a bigger build that is affordable.

The LEGO Artemis set is a detailed and enjoyable build that accurately captures NASA’s return-to-the-Moon program. So excited to get this kit! I took my time building it over the course of a week. I truly get enjoyment out of building this kit. All the while in awe of how this all comes together. So awesome!
