Amazing build

As soon as I saw this being the next 1/8 technic car, I had to get it right away. This was perfect to add to my 1/8 car collection (sadly I don’t have the Bugatti Chiron). I absolutely love McLaren especially for the curvature of all their cars. After completing this build, I can say it’s definitely worth it with the detail put into this. The rocked the curves, engine, suspension, transmission and more. My favorite detail is the hood goes up and there’s a rod to hold up the hood. I can’t wait for the next 1/8 to come out into the future. They continue to nail it every time.

Missing pieces.

While I was building the back of this set I noticed I was missing a piece and also had a piece that wasn’t needed in the steps of bag 21. The set overall is good but I feel I shouldn’t have missing pieces considering the amount of money I paid for this set and I feel this logic should be applied to any set no matter the price.

My son loves all the car builds but he was really excited about this one and it did NOT disappoint! Especially loved the bright (happy) yellow color and worked on it day and night for 3 straight days!

Favorite super car set by far!

I honestly really love this set and it's definitely one of my all time favorites! The colors really pop and the build experience was great but was unfortunately interrupted by missing a singular piece.. (I was unable to complete the build until I got the piece) I've looked at other reviews and I was not the only one with this issue. All in all, this was an extremely fun build, but I wish I hadn't run into the issue of missing the part I needed.

Love the New Bricks

Love the new bricks, and new shock system for the doors is a HUGE improvement. Only negatives are I wish they had a video showing how the transmission shifting is supposed to work, mine doesn't seem to be shifting correctly but I have nothing to compare it to. Also, had to stop on bag 20 step 834 because it was missing a brick and had 2 extra bricks from a previous bag. The missing brick functionality on this website is a waste of time, and now I have to wait for who knows how long for them to send a replacement
