This set is so nice and accurate,
I built it with my four years old sun and we had so much fun.
The only thing that damaged our experience is the poor doors.
Optimus prime finally found a friend.

As the leader of the Decepticons, I wouldn’t be expecting to write a review for an Autobot but this is just absolutely awesome! I love the design, I love the transformation, I love the model overall. There is one very minor flaw and that is the size. In my opinion, Bumblebee is a little bit big compared to normal but the rest of the intricate designs and awesome details make up for this! 10/10. Definitely worth the money.

Ok so Bumblebee was an ok build but seriously Lego you need to make a tutorial on how to transform the set into a transformer that video on the app did not satisfy me one bit

What a great set! Roll out!

So I bought this pre release and it came today so I assembled it. The process was not perfect but the instructions were 100% accurate so any mistakes were quickly corrected with a glance and a rework of my approach. It’s not perfect but it’s perfect enough for me. Happy to have loads of spares which is not how Lego used to roll so happy to see that. I mean cmon people, no need to disassemble and change the model, just Transform it! Highly recommended for articulate builders who are pleased with the direction this is heading!

I was really surprised with this little guy. First, TBH, I was hesitant to purchase Bumblebee. But, it's my 2 best childhood loves in one. So I took a chance. In looking at his vehicle mode I really like the stance. Rubber wheels give a great feel of authenticity to the bug. The hood sections are a little sensitive if your not careful but they hold well. It's only in the transformation that you might run into an issue. The transformation was unique and the mechanics are ingenious. I appreciate the care and thought put into the bot as well as the vehicle. The weapon was well constructed and looks great. I have to say the hands and feet are two of the standouts for me. I am glad I got him and he will look great next to my Optimus Prime. It's up to you, but I would reccomend his purchase.

Great build, challenging transformation

I am a huge fan of the transformers since I grew up with them. I was a huge fan of the Optimus Prime model and was looking forward to Bumblebee. I know they designed some new parts for him. The build was fast and easy but the transformation was a little challenging. Overall it was still a great buy and easy build. I would do it again in a minute. Those that are giving it a low rating, in my opinion are being too harsh. I hope they come out with megatron fast. Would be fun to have the set.

Just an enjoyable set

I too had some reservation about this set when I saw some of the early reviews. In the same spirit as the Optimus build, I found this set to be very enjoyable. The build was straightforward and loved the transform process at the end. If you are a fan of the old G1 series from the 80s, this set really brings back some of the magic from the original series. Autobots, transform and roll out!
