Flimsy, sloppy build

I got this as a post-holiday present to myself, and it’s been an exercise in frustration. Once I got to bag 8, things started falling off willy-nilly, and I kept having to go back several steps. The core of the ship drops pieces, pieces were missing, and I’ve had to cannibalize other lego sets to progress. Truly disappointing.

Nice but FRAGILE

So I’ve built a number of the Star Wars models and I did love the design of this. My biggest issue is this thing is absolutely the most fragile set I’ve ever built. I don’t know if the quality of LEGO pieces have gone down or just the inherent design but this thing falls apart at the drop of a hat. Don’t touch it, don’t move it, don’t look at it too intently or it will burst into shards. I spent 2 hours trying to get it back together after a one of the wings fell off because there are no grip points and trying to put any piece back on just broke more off. It pains me to say this because I do love these sets but, goodness this one is rough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wish I hadn't wasted the money

This thing is a nightmare. Parts have to be disassembled to fit them. Pieces that are held on by one stud fall off constantly during construction. There are errors in the instructions. This really need to go through more testing and reviews before hitting the market.

I’ve purchased many 18+ sets and never had any issues but this set takes the cake for hardest set to stay together. Every time I try to add the wings, something inevitable falls off and it’s hard to figure out where it came from the sea of gray pieces. I’ve had to take it off the stand multiple times to fix it only to have even more pieces fall off. It’s way too fragile of a set and I’ve gotten way too upset fixing it every time. Don’t recommend.

Beautiful Display Piece, Fragile Build

First off, this set is a beautiful work of art and looks very cool on display. However, the building experience itself was disappointing. Several parts, such as #421183 and #4558955, don't fit securely together, leaving noticeable gaps and wiggle room for all four scoops (#6210601). Additionally, the wings aren't attached securely, making the build feel fragile. The stand is also poorly designed—the angle positions the ship too high, and it doesn't feel stable enough to confidently display. Given the price point, I expected higher quality, better stability, and a more reliable stand.
Overall it is one of the most frustrating builds I've done so far.

Ridiculously fragile

So at this point I have not completed this set. It's a very fragile setup which when attempting to attach wings, things just started falling apart. Got to a point where I have decided to break it all the way back down and start from the beginning.

Angry and Disappointed

I received this as a Father's Day gift. The build experience was pretty frustrating. The stand is terrible. It's collapsed multiple times leaving me with a pile of rubble. I've had to do a major rebuild at least 3 times. I'm to the point now that I'm not sure i can fix it with any degree of reliability. I've never had a Lego be this fragile with single stud connections and a weight that's MUCH to heavy to be on such a fragile stand. I really want my money back on this one. For over 200 dollars, this should be much more sturdy.
The designer should be ashamed to have their name on this. I would not recommend getting this set.

Do not buy.

This is not a well designed set. The stand does not support it at all. The slightest movement makes it fall apart. Trying to build it on the stand is comical at best. I even bought a baseplate to hold the stand in place. It has come so far apart that I may not rebuild it. Do not waste your money even though it looks great. If you do, buy some glue to hold it together.
