Shame the build experience was poor, I had to build this twice, first time it shattered when trying to put it on the poorly designed stand for it, it simply is too fragile was a good while before I built it again, but it's still a very fragile build, I dont really think we needed the interior to be a play thing, this should have been like the tie fighter a great display piece that isn't supposed to be played with, this thing keeps wanting to come apart if I even touch it and I've built all the ucs sets, this one is the only one to have broken on me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome model, love the way the final product looks and its a nice addition to the collection. For the most part the build itself was very enjoyable. But I get...annoyed every time I see a sticker in a UCS set and this is no exception. Stickers make the overall product feel "cheaper" in my opinion and UCS sets deserve better treatment.

Man, this thing is sick! It looks so much better in person! Once I attached the first wing, I realized how big this set was going to be. This is my third UCS set and i know I'll be getting more. They are worth the money! Greatest details, size is amazing, and overall design is killer!

Ucs tie interceptor

It’s crazy to think how far Lego has come in the past 25 years, the building experience was good for this set nothing that was too repetitive other than the wings but you can expect this for any kinda of set like this, as for the overall quality for the set it’s really solid and nothing flimsy on it, I actually have the 2000 ucs tie interceptor and it doesn’t come close to this model the 1200 pc difference really makes a difference I would recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic set, but unfortunately missing pieces

This set was everything I was hoping for looks wise when it came to an updated UCS Interceptor, but unfortunately mine came with missing pieces.
I usually don’t mind 1 or 2 missing pieces from a small scale, main line Lego Star Wars set, but I expect a different level of quality when it comes to LEGO’s UCS line, and this set disappointedly did not deliver on that front.

Amazing engineering

I continue to be impressed with what the designers are coming up with for the UCS Star Wars sets, and this one is no exception. I was really interested to compare this one to the Tie Fighter that came out a few years ago. Lego is a block so it always fascinating to see how they are going to design rounded features for these models. This one has some really fascinating building techniques but the way the bags are divided makes it easy to put together. I really appreciate the printed data plate, I really don't enjoy trying to perfectly line up that sticker on earlier models. One thing I thought was a bit cheesy on this one, was the mouse droid, but if that's the biggest complaint I have, then this must be a really good set! My only other comment, Please Lego, give us an updated Darth Vader UCS Tie Fighter!

Poor design

Stand is horrible, it tilts with the slightest movement. Parts start to fall off, leading to more headache reassembling. I’ve built many advanced sets and this is by far the worst. Would not recommend it.
