+ General appearance is great and looks intimidating.
+ I Really appreciate the spherical look of the core. A step up from the wedge pieces used in the recent tie fighter.
+ Gribblies on the inner side of the wing plate are a great attention to detail
- Window Plate can be tough to lock in without side slope pieces pushing it out.
- I wish the instructions highlighted that the wings really are just mirrors. I would have saved myself some hassle by building all 4 at once instead of flipping through the same instructions 4 times.
- Repairs are pretty frustrating to the wings; the shovels and gun pieces are almost guaranteed to pop-out as you fiddle about, necessitating that you dissassemble the wings from the shaft just to get everything back into place.
-/+ really wish you could just place it on the floor, but the weight of the build will collapse the under wings. However you can place it with the cockpit facing upwards just fine.

fantastic display piece for sure. If you are a nutjob like me and want to hand this over to your toddlers to play with, I do recommend teaching them proper care and super gluing a few pieces:
1. angled slopes abutting the wings to the shaft
2. 1x1 bit holding shovels to the angular plate.
3. rear thrusters
4. controller plates
5. 1x1 bit holding blasters to wings (and long stemmed blasters to wings as well)
6. Some of the gribblies on inner side of wing (specifically the bits holding the bendy tube)
7. stem holding disk in place on the wings.

Amazing set!!

Loved everything about this set. Building it was by far one of the best experiences with building Legos and was extremely fun. Only issue was that some of the parts felt a little flimsy but overall great set!

Not Bad.

First Star Wars set so I decided to go big. Finished product definitely looks great. Only issue is the build. Very flimsy design for such a large and intricate set. Constantly had small pieces falling off in deep pockets during construction, some which I had to leave out because the dislodged so far in to the build I would have needed to deconstruct everything and basically start over. Otherwise, it does look great and definitely display worthy. Would recommend for any Lego fans collection!

The model is large and I can appreciate the small details added. Be careful when attaching the internal cockpit panels (little black triangles with stickers) as I had one pop out while attaching the outside shell plating. This was a me problem (not inserting them firmly enough) and not a design problem. I'm not sure about the complaints about the stand as mine is sturdy and held the model firmly in place during assembly of the solar panel arrays. The only critical thing I can say is the attachment of the laser cannons as they're only attached by one stud. Overall, great display set and good build.

Fun build, but another set that was missing several key pieces. Had to wait for the missing pieces to get mailed to me before I could finish the build. One of my favorites.
