TIE Interceptor UCS is the real deal!

Best build experience I’ve had with LEGO. The build app guided my dad and I through the steps and told us when to hand off parts to each other. The scale is large and the detail level is high. Box photos don’t do it enough justice. I enjoyed the designer’s notes and comparisons to the original UCS Interceptor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Elegant with some flaws

I enjoyed the build for the most part and even the repetitive nature of the "solar" panels was well executed. From a display perspective this set is is a 9.5 out of 10 as far as the Star Wars UCS sets I am familiar with. The only reason I'm writing a review is this... there are so many instances of where decorative pieces are attached by only one stud or "designed" to float in the middle rather than solidly clicking in place. This makes these points of contact very finicky and unforgiving... and also sloppy should you choose to touch it or move it. It's too bad that these didn't see another turn of the crank at the design table.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego's have never been a 'cheap' hobby, but in my opinion, spending time with friends, kids, and even my grandkids playing with Legos has always been worth it. This was a fantastic build with my son, who is also a Star Wars Lego enthusiast.
