How Could filling it take This Long?

I was so Excited about this purchase..I’ve been wanting a Filtered water dispenser. But The Amount of time it’s taking to fill up this 22 cup dispenser is Mind Boggling. I’ve been at it for 25 minutes and it’s still Not full. This Photo is 30 Minutes and I’ts still Not full! This is America. Things don’t work this way? It’s very very weird. I’m gonna have to return it.. I wanted it To be GREAT! But I don’t have the Patience for this.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. From time to time the filter can develop an air lock, some little air pockets or air bubbles that get trapped down inside the filter. Typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock.

22 cup ready-read has been wonderful. I have been filtering water like crazy. The smell of the chlorine coming out of my kitchen facet turns my stomach. I have been filtering the water for our cats to drink and it seems like they go through this water a lot quicker than regular tap.
