The ready read meter does not work. When it registers 1 TDS it is actually 5 or 6.

I had to use a Zerowater 10 cup (2 liters) dispenser the Montreal City provided for free and I never really liked it. This 22 cup (4 liters) one is fantastic. Now we can filter enough water to last a day without the need to constantly refill it. The new dispensing valve is much more easier to use over the old push button valve which was hard to operate, especially for the elders who got arthritis. The new valve is also pouring more water when using it, so it's less time standing in front of the dispenser waiting to fill the glass. Another thing about the dispenser is the ability to check on the fly the water with the integrated TDS counter. This is definitely an needed bonus as I often forget after I get my glass full to check if I get over the 006 limit, that is until I get the fishy taste of the water. The only little downside is when you unpack the dispenser you must fully insert and push the valve to the hole at the bottom of the container and make sure it's fully straight.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love This Design

I had used the 10 cup standard pitcher for a few years, but the bottom began leaking so I had to toss it. I went to my local retailer and happened to find this unit sitting on the shelf and decided to grab it and try it out.
First of all, the design is very nice. Unlike the older dispensers, this one has handles from front to back and side to side. It is very easy for me to pick this thing up and move it around. The grip is good and I do not feel like I'm going to drop it.
Second, the plastic seems to be of high quality. I am a plastics nerd and the top lid and reservoir appear to be made of polypropylene (# 5 recycle code) and the tank itself is made of very tough ABS. Both are safe BPA free plastics and I have no reservations about using them, especially just for water. One thing to note is ABS plastic has weak UV resistance so I would not use this dispenser outside, at least not for very long. It is more intended for indoor use.
Third, the spigot is now a lever action design and not the older push button design. I never used the push button dispenser, but I can say this one has a good flow rate and does not leak. Of course, I am sure there will be a few units here and there that do leak because it would be very difficult to make the manufacturing tolerances tight enough to ensure a 0% failure rate. When I installed my spigot, I wetted the o-ring (as per the manual) and just pushed it straight in until I heard the audible snap. I have had no problems with leaking whatsoever.
All in all I really like it. To me it looks "sleeker" than the older models and I prefer the lever action. I hope ZeroWater moves their existing dispenser line over to this new design.

Leaks!

I've only owned this for about 6 weeks and it's leaked since I got it. At this point, I can't use it because it is leaking all over my countertops and floors, even in my refrigerator. Do not waste your money on this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The new size and streamlined style is excellent! Fits nicely in the fridge, easy to refill and the new spout style is even easier to access and use than previous styles. Excited to have zero water products in our household for daily use. The size is great from a capacity standpoint and ease of daily use. I could see traveling with this for long weekends away too!

I've been using zero water for years. You cannot beat the taste of this water. The best thing about this product is keeping the dissolved solid tester with the water filter. Much better than having is somewhere else in the kitchen. Also, the delivery spigot is much improved. Overall, I love this new zero water device and I'm happy to have it part of my water filter collection

The new model has a one piece lid that needs to be removed to fill the tank. Whereas the older models had a hinged lid that folds up which I prefer.
But the new water release valve is much better than the older push button and hold it one.
