Don't like it...made it sound like tester automatically gives reading when dispensing. Not true. Also the lid is very hard to get off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I came here from Project Farm. TLDR: Yeah, this system is decent.
The Good:
Yes, the filter does work as advertised. When new, the filtered water (well, to me) tastes like high pH branded water. And that stuff is expensive too. Very well done!

The Bad:
This particular container... works (for filtering and storing water). The total dissolved solids meter works, but only when I put it in the water directly. It must not make good contact with the probes when installed on the slot on the container. For example, when the filter has expired, the TDS meter would read "001" when on the container. When directly in water, it would read "006". (This would mean it is time to change the filter). Another example is when I really ran the filter past its expiration, it was "046" on the container, and "250" when directly in the water.

The Ugly:
I know I go through a lot of water, and my tap water is around 300 TDS. But wow... I replace these filters every 2 weeks. So at least be prepared for what you are getting into.

I can taste when the water filter needs to be changed. It is quite noticeable, at least to me. Then I check the water, and sure enough, the total dissolved solids is at "006".
Also, I ran my normal tap water though the filter when it was expired. When starting at ~300 TDS, I got a good 4 filtered gallons at 6-10 TDS. The 5th gallon was at 40 TDS. After that, the total dissolved solids content quickly went up to 250+. So, if you want to run your filters in "overtime", you have some buffer room.

I had great difficulty removing the lid to refill the pitcher. I finely found out that if I use a letter opener to help lift the area around the blue gasket it would break the seal and pop the top open.

Slow spigot

We just received the 22 cup filter. I'm sure, from previous experience with Zerowater, that the water will be excellent, but the spigot flows too slowly. You have to stand there with the refrigerator door open, letting all the cold air escape, while you wait for the wimpy spigot to allow the water to slowly trickle into your glass. For us environmentally-woke persons, this is disheartening.

Tasty water!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never realized how much impurity was in the tap water until I tested it with the TDS testing meter. Not only does the ZeroWater filtration pitcher purifies our drinking water to the max, but the tap water has never been tastier in my opinion.
The design of the pitcher is very nice and the dispenser makes it very easy to fill up our glasses whenever we need a drink.
All in all, we love our new ZeroWater pitcher and it goes without saying that it gets a perfect rating from us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Zero Water filtration system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the zero water filter system because I wanted to see how it did and me and my family love it! Definitely something to get to have on hand and easy to use as well. It pulls out the bad chemical found in water.
