Style over substance

I had such high hopes for this product. Out of the gate, the lid was difficult to remove. Then the pre-filter reservoir was extremely shallow. I filled it as I could leaving it in my sink to filter with the intention of refilling it so I could get a full pitcher of water. When I went to refill it, the lid was so snug I didn’t think I’d ever get it open again. As an object, it’s beautiful but it’s completely unusable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great. The 10-inch height fits just nicely on my refrigerator shelf, the spout protrudes just enough to fill a glass with cold water and there's absolutely no post-drip.

I wanted to love this product - the spigot and design looked great in pictures! So sad, it holds less water than I wanted and expected with a 12 cup model but the LID is the biggest problem. First of all it was hard to put on at first but I figured out the trick by putting the front clip first and then the back slide in tab. The second big issue is the push tab on the back of the lid to get. Once you get the lid on it is impossible to get off - the tab does NOT work, it is so hard to push, I've taken to just not securing it at all...and lastly once you do get the lid on securely it STILL leaks at the seam of the pitcher when you use the poor spout. Let's just say I am glad I didn't get rid of my old one. NOW with all that said I love the zero filter system - it is the best even with city water!

It could be better

I bought this while keeping in mind of what some of the negative reviews said and I do agree with some of them. This is not a 12 cup pitcher, it’s like 6/7 cups because I already have a 7 cup pitcher and they are basically the same size and width. I haven’t had an issue with leaking but I’ve only been using the spout for the most part. The place where you can put the tds meter could have a better design because it’s kinda hard to take it out. Overall the product for me is okay. Would I recommend it to anyone? Yes if they want a 6/7 cup fancy looking pitcher and no if they genuinely wanted a 12 cup pitcher. I would recommend the older designs. And in my opinion you guys didn’t have to say it’s 12 cups when it’s not I’m sure plenty of people would still buy it even if it’s less.

Stopped filtering

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. From time to time the filter can develop an air lock, some little air pockets or air bubbles that get trapped down inside the filter. Typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock.

The well that captures unfiltered water is so shallow and small it requires several rounds of waiting and carefully pouring water to refill it back up. I bought a larger pitcher to purposefully avoid this task. When pouring into the well- water often bounces up and out all over the counter due to the shallow design. After 2 weeks of use I went back to my original pitcher.

Love the new design!

I have been a long time zero water user with their pitcher, and when I saw this new design come out, I was excited to try it! The water dispenser makes it so easy to use, and I can keep it in my fridge and pour a glass of water at the same time. Love it! Its the perfect size for my husband and I. And, it uses the same filter that they use with the pitcher which is nice, I can buy filters and use it with either the pitcher or this water dispenser. The size and shape make it easy to clean as well, which is great!
I would recommend this to a friend!
