Flimsy freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is fine so far. However the freezer door is extremely wobbly and flimsy feeling and there is not a very strong seal. I fear this will not last very long and we may need to have the door repaired or replaced. I would not purchase this again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shelving options limited and freezer is meh

I went with GE because I like the brand, but I don’t love this model. The left and right shelves are not interchangeable - I wanted to put the half/collapsible shelf on the left side of the fridge, but it can only be inserted on the right side. Also, I wanted to put the smaller door shelves at the top of the doors, but they can only be installed at the bottom of the doors. The freezer is not designed well - it doesn’t roll open smoothly because the top shelf gets in the way and I wish the bottom area of the freezer went back further. On a positive note, the fridge is pretty quiet.

Change that is needed for the refrigerator

The thing that should be changed on the refrigerator is the way the water is dispensed. instead of pressing the button on the top (which is located above the water spout}, It should be depressed by the cup, bottle, or container. It would make it so much easier! I have to use two hands with this system, one to press the button and one to hold my glass! Change the location of the button to below the spout, Depress and fill at the same time!

A great basic refrigerator
