Nice looking fridge, but flawed

This is an updated review, but GE won't accept it - says "duplicate error". Good looking fridge and excellent climate control with generous capacity. But several annoying features: bottom fridge is clunky and spills ice cubes out occasionally; split top shelf is useless and annoying; filter replacement, they say, is easy - not true; usually have to open both doors, with consequential loss of cool air; wish is were quieter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Be sure the bucket is properly positioned directly under the icemaker. Make sure the feeler arm is not broken. The feeler arm is either a metal rod on the side of the icemaker or a plastic paddle that sits horizontal under the icemaker.

We'd like to lend a hand with the temperature of your refrigerator. There are a few things we recommend checking that may help resolve this.
Food load is an important factor. The fresh food drawers and compartment should ideally be at least 1/2 full or more. Freezing is more likely to occur when the unit does not have enough food to absorb the cold air. Make sure the drawers/bins are at least 1/2 full. If the drawer has an adjustable temperature feature and items are freezing, adjust the drawer to a warmer temperature setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had my refrigerator for two days. But so far it’s working wonderfully! I like all the features! But PLEASE stop using the blue tape to tape all the parts together. The lighter tan colored tape is not as sticky and works just as well. It’s a lot easier to remove.

Roomy and Fits Right In

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new GE refrigerator so far! Great look, holds way more than I thought it could, quiet, refrigerator temperature consistent, freezer temperature also perfect. Just one thing, you have to open both top doors to pull out the deli drawer on the bottom. I think dividing the drawer into 2, one on each side would be more convenient for us, i.e. we keep cheese on one side, meats on other and at times need to access only one. Two drawers for deli would be more convenient.
