Newer refrigerators may sound different than older models. Because they use updated technology and include more features, it’s normal to hear them running during regular operation. We do have an article on our website that has the normal sounds you will hear coming from your unit at the link - https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901.

I love the space and room in the refrigerator, but I’ve only had it for 3 months and it will either have my food frozen, or have everything sweating and warm.

We'd like to help out with the temperature fluctuation you are noticing. We recommend checking to make sure that your door/seal is closing properly, to prevent warm air from entering the unit and help keep cool air inside. You will also want to check for any large items such as trays, platters, food items that may interfere with door closure. You can check out more troubleshooting in our article here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=21185
For food freezing, we recommend making sure the food load is 1/2 full or more. Freezing is more likely to occur when your refrigerator does not have enough food to absorb the cold air. You can check out the article here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=23002 for more tips.
If the troubleshooting didn't provide help, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our Bodewell service team. To make an appointment with one of our Bodewell technicians, please call 1-833-426-3393 or visit this site: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
I’ve had this fridge for four months. I like the size of the fridge and freezer and the fingerprint proof stainless steel. Overall, I think it’s a great fridge. What I don’t are the produce drawers. They seem smaller than my last fridge and they only open half way making it difficult to put larger items inside. The freezer makes great ice but too much of it is dispensed and it falls inside the back of the freezer which is not easy to access. Other than that, I’m very happy and would recommend this fridge.

GE needs to re- think non leveling wheels. My refrigerator stands 1.5” out of plumb and these are cabinet depth to look built in. You CANT “plumb” the unit . Looks terrible!

It's wonderful to hear you're pleased with your new refrigerator and it meets all of your expectations! And we can see why; there are so many great features. The LED lighting helps you find exactly what you need, the Quick Space shelf quickly slides out of the way to make room for tall items, and the Door Alarm to notify you if or when the refrigerator door is left open!
We will pass your feedback about the ice compartment to our product team for review.
