Fits in my space

I was limited by space constraints as to which refrigerator would fit. The only negative I can say is that the water dispenser is limiting. It is impossible to get my coffee pot underneath, so I have to fill a large flexible measuring cup and then pour into my coffee pot. The dispensing hose is not flexible or long enough. The refrigerator looks nice and the ice maker produces more than enough ice
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great basic refrigerator

Good basic refrigerator. My old one died and I needed one fast. It had everything I needed. The freezer compartment is a little small, and the ice cubes spill out of the tray. But it has great internal organization in the refrigerator part.

Disappointed

There are problems with temperature control... food freezes in spots in the refrigerator. While the adjustable shelving adds flexibility, the center brackets take up alot of storage room. The unit is loud and the ice maker takes a long time to make ice.

It’s unexpected to hear that your new refrigerator operates louder than anticipated, and that your food has been freezing in the fresh food section. We want to help. We suggest checking out the articles below, where you’ll find information on fridge sounds, as well as troubleshooting steps you can try when your food is freezing.

Great looking brushed steel that won't collect fingerprints. Plenty of cabinet storage room for stored items for a counter depth refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice looking, functional but noisy.

The look and outward design of the refrigerator is very clean and nice. Lots of functional interior features with adjustable shelves and door storage compartments. However, the refrigerator is noisy and the French door center seal panel does not consistently deploy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design is flawed, far from mature

The fridge makes its presence known as soon as you plug it in. The noise is much louder than our previous fridge GE fridge. It is not so much the compressor but the fans inside that move the air, it's like a yowling noise and very noticeable. The left door makes a very audible mechanical noise upon closing; the movable flap that seals engages with a mechanical noise. I never had this issue with any other fridge. The interior layout is subpar, not well thought through. E.g., there is no egg carton storage any more in the doors. The bottom crisper drawer for vegetables and salad expands across the total width of the fridge. It is divided inside but the tray is one wide piece. This requires opening both doors wide (90 degrees) in order to slide the drawer out and access its content. When you do this, the fridge is wide open and all the cold air falls out. I am concerned that the promised energy consumption of 586 KWh per year is not realistic at all. When you open the fridge doors the LED light is dimmed and takes a while to brighten. You have to wait while the door is open until you can read the labels on bottles, etc. and identify the item you are looking for. The GE quality designers have obviously never tested their product and realized or identified, which simple improvements will help their customers and create a better product.
