Sleek Bottom Freezer with Internal Water Dispenser

The internal water dispenser and the bottom freezer are the features I appreciate the most. This fridge is also the quietest fridge I've ever owned--and it's counter depth too. So glad I chose GE!
I very much appreciate the fingerprint resistant stainless steel, and the beeping if door is left open was annoying at first, but I do think it is helpful. I have had vegetables freeze in the drawer and on the upper shelves, despite the temperature setting being at the suggested one. I do not think the capacity is as good as my older 2 door fridge. And the pull out freezer is difficult -- the drawer seems unstable and does not hold nearly as much as a door freezer.

Attractive and well-lit interior with a few issues

Attractive and well-lit interior. and excellent capacity. Only problems I have are a clumsy attempt to divide an upper shelf into two parts and the freezer that collect ice cubes that often pop out when it gets full. I also wonder how much cool air is lost with both fridge doors open, which often is necessary. Although not bad, it sometimes runs with noticeable noise .

We are glad to assist you with your refrigerator. There are a few things we recommend trying that may help with the ice bucket overflowing: Be sure the bucket is properly positioned directly under the icemaker. Make sure the feeler arm is not broken. The feeler arm is either a metal rod on the side of the icemaker or a plastic paddle that sits horizontal under the icemaker. For further guidance, please refer here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=16934
When it comes to sounds, it is normal for the unit to make sounds while operating. You can refer here for more information: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901#:~:text=A%20clicking/tic%2Dtock%20noise,by%20the%20circulation%20of%20refrigerant.
As far as adjusting the shelf, you can refer to page 16 of the owner's manual for guidance. Here is the link: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--tNS_f22X--/r8svo2jeezevledqxfti.pdf
The motor rattles and makes squeaking noises constantly. Has done it since day 1. The shelves are located at poor levels. Lack of shelf space. Does not hold much at all. Would not buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We would like to help you with the sound level of your refrigerator. Rattling sounds can be considered normal when the icemaker is turned on but not connected to a water supply. If your unit is not hooked up to water, we recommend turning the icemaker off.
Rattling sounds may also occur when a new refrigerator's door gasket is sealing very tightly. This sound is typically temporary and should stop within a few days as the gasket becomes more pliable. However, considering that you’ve had your unit for several months now, we recommend scheduling service with one of our Bodewell technicians by calling 1-833-426-3393 or visiting us online at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We had another brand of fridge that was supposed to be reliable but we ended up replacing the icemaker 4x in 6 years. We bought GE with an inside the drawer ice maker as we'd read that type is more reliable. We are also pleasantly surprised at how much this smaller fridge holds. Love the one shelf that folds back and lets you store tall pitchers.
We love our new GE French Door fridge! The spacious design has been so helpful. Our prior fridge was the same CF, but with the storage bins on the doors, it definitely clears up a good amount of space. I will say the freezer capacity is a bit smaller, but we can work with it. The fridge is wonderfully cold and produce has lasted so much longer. The doors, and fridge itself, are very sturdy and sound.
