Small, outdoorsy and fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good small package of sound outdoor speaker, I took this a couple of times to the park while walking and enjoying the afternoon and I also bring it with me while grilling on the porch, i have used it at least 6 hours and battery seems to be holding on pretty good, I really like the possibility to have music on the in really convenient form factor , it is also nice to not be worried about splash and or the need for an electric plug for this to play music, although the sound this speaker emits is not low by any means I can tell that this is certainly a small group of persons and I would say a small reach distant for you to continue to hear it well. Overall, it is nice to have the flexibility of size and ease of transportability to always have favorite music at reach andd ready to go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

That crisp sound you expect from JBL in small form

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive used this lil beast in the shower hanging off my showerhead to jam out, clip it onto my reusable bags while running errands, and my bike and its a strong hook. Speaker packs a punch and gets loud if you want it to and the app makes EQ a breeze which is nice when you wanna listen to music late night with less bass to not disturb others trying to sleep. The classic jbl signature is usally what I keep it at but I mess around w the dials when listening to hip hop for more boom. I like that it shows battery life when using the app and I wish that there was a widget for the speaker on android that shows battery life consistently so maybe that can get added in the portable app in the near future. I give it 5 stars and recommend it to my uncles that works construction cause they can clip it onto their pouches at work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cuts audio short

I use this with Garmin Ride with GPS and all if the audio starts late. The first word or two is not transmitted and when you are using it for turn by turn directions, it matters.

Please restart your Bluetooth connection, make sure that your source device and JBL Clip 5 are within the Bluetooth range of 10m, if you’re using an equalizer, set it back to default settings. Some equalizers can cause sound distortion or static in speakers. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

The clip 4 is better than the clip 5

I bought a clip 4 about 6 months ago and thought it was a great little Bluetooth speaker. Then after reading about the bigger clip 5 being a little better with bass or louder I decided to buy the clip 5. But to be honest I was disappointed with the clip 5 The clip 4 is actually the better speaker ! At least to my ears

I bought 2 clip 5s to replace the single clip 2 that I've had for years. My initial thought on this speaker while using a single one was to give it 3 stars for the following reasons.1. Even though this gets slightly louder than the 2nd gen, I thought the 2nd gen sounded better. 2. The speaker no longer has a built in mic like it's predecessor disabling access to your voice assistant like Siri and phone calls directly through your speaker. Which is surprising considering the next thing I'm going to mention. 3. This speaker is much larger and heavier than it's predecessor. Now the reason I gave this speaker a 4 star rating instead of 3 is because I updated all the firmware and was able to setup a stereo group in the app and gave the 2 speakers a listen with a true stereo sound. They did sound pretty good in stereo mode and they will work individually with your phone and will connect in stereo automatically simply by turning them on once a stereo group has been setup in the app. Also, for those V I folks using voiceover on your iPhones, it's been pretty accessible so far with the app and I hope that the people maintaining the app continue to keep this level of accessibility for the blind.

Another great JBL product

Okay so I was already a JBL fan but I had to have it. It is the best addition to my little JBL family cuz it can play at the same time as my party box that's rocking the floor and I've got the highest clipped on to my belt. I love this little thing it rocks and Eclipse onto my UTV perfectly and stays waterproof.

Not Cheap, But Worth Every Penny! :)

The most practical, portable, aesthetically pleasing speaker i've seen. Love! As an autism behavioural therapist, the durability really comes in handy. Its volume can be adjusted to be very high considering its size. And the fact, you can clip it onto tons of different areas due to its design. Plus, as a trans person, I love the pink/blue color.

Watch when adding text

Although the image came out good the added text doesn't show up like it was depicted in the proof. You need to have it turned at a certain angle to barely see the text. Sounds awesome.
