I bought the 4 camera system 2 months ago. Once I learned how great these cameras work day and night I decided to increase the system to 6 cameras! Then by only 3 more weeks I decided to get 2 more!!! So the system now has 8 cameras!!!!

we have been using it for 1 month. resolution is good. we only have them in the house and the batteries have only 25 % left. may be a lot better when each camera has 4 batteries in it. they only come with 2. we also have figured out how to shut the spot lights off to conserv battery life. night owl has good technical support. I recommend those product for inside use. also I was able to set your this camera system and the remote viewing on my own. I am not a technically guy.

Great Camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the camera in my elderly grandfather's room to watch his home attendants. The camera is awesome and provides the opportunity to allow us to view him in real-time. Since having the camera we have seen the slight neglect that we suspected the home attendant was committing. I do recommend this product.

Very nice system!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In looking for a security camera system, I was happy to find this system by Night Owl. The overall picture quality is way better than I expected. One of the best features that I really like is having the ability to talk thru the camera. Each camera even has a light. Setup was very easy as each camera is wireless. Once the NVR is setup, you can then use your phone to aim the cameras. There is no subscription. Lastly, this system is expandable up to 10 cameras.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good standalone security system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup was easier than I thought. The directions where simple and after charging the batteries fully each camera paired easily. The range seems good. The DVR is basically it's own PC so you will need to make a connection to the monitor and it has its own mouse. SO you need room at your desk or another setup.
Not totally impressed with the software or the apps. If this product was going to improve this is where they should focus. The system software cannot be overridden in the App. If the cameras are scheduled to record in the main system you cannot make schedule changes through the app or 'manually' start recording. This may be a setup error but I tried a few different ways and none where successful.
Picture and sound quality on recordings seems good (1080p).
The cameras can hold up to 4 batteries but 2 are supplied for each unit, assume they would last twice a s long between charges with 4 installed. USB charging of each unit is simple and for me preferred over trying to hardwire.

These wire free cameras are easy to install and great for hard to reach areas that may not have a nearby power source. While you can adjust some settings remotely via the App, many settings must be adjusted within the NVR itself, with it connected to a TV / Monitor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome camera. The app is easy to install and the camera is easy to set up. You will need to know your WiFi password. You can take still pictures and record to your phone with the app. There is 2 way audio. We planned on using this for a stand alone camera but like it so much we will be buying more pieces. The camera has a crystal clear picture. There is a light on the camera so it can be viewed at night.

I love it because it's wireless, has spotlights that are motion activated so you can see even at night when it's dark, no monthly fees, comes with its own Wi-Fi base, rechargeable batteries and my favorite part is the two-way audio, so I can talk from my phone and tell the delivery guy to leave the box at my door. The picture quality is excellent at 1080 resolution. The box came with three cameras, and you can add up to seven more to make a total of 10 if you need that many cameras on your property. It's easy to install, took me about 30 min, and works with Google assistant. If you have Chromecast you can even live stream to your television. I love my Night Owl security system cameras.
