Radio works great and is simple to use right out of the box. I did a trunk install in my BMW and use the ski pass thru to access the hand set. Was ready to use in 15 minutes. Upgraded to a "lip mount" to make the install prettier, although the mag mount that comes with the radio works fine.

Exceptionally easy to install in RAV4 so would not cause me to remove ham radios. Measured 50 watts output notably improves range over 15 watt radio.
