The weather finally cooperated so I could install my new MXT575 MicoMobile 50w radio. The base is small and compact and easy to mount/attach. The mic cord was flexible and plenty long. Looking forward to testing it out next weekend on the dunes.

We are super excited to have the MXT 575 GMRS radio from Midland. Coming from a Midland MXT 400 40-watt radio. We absolutely love our MXT 400. It has never given us any issues, and we did not expect anything less than great from the new MXT 575. Boasting an impressive 50 watts we did not experience have any issues communicating during our offroad excursions and trips which had distances of 10 miles in-between radios on mountainous terrain in Flagstaff Arizona. The MXT 575 has all the controls and adjustment on the hand mic which is a layout I personally love. By doing so you can tuck the radio away and control everything on the hand mic. However, you could also leave the radio visible to take advantage of the USB C charging port on the radio. We used that USB C daily to keep our phones and tablets charged. Absolutely no issues came from the USB C port. Some features that stood out to us on the MXT 575 are as follows 15 channels, 8 repeater channels, 142 privacy codes, water resistant IP66, repeater capable, NOAA weather alerts, and silent operation mode. In closing we have to say we have loved this radio as we put it through its paces. This radio packs a huge punch in a compact package. Recommend the MXT 575 to all.

Powerful Radio with Great Range

The MXT575 is a great alternative to the MXT500, with the radio controls on the mic vs on the radio unit. If you don't have the space on your dash or overhead, this MXT575 can be hidden in another part of your rig, and then you can run the mic cable wherever you choose. It's basically a more powerful version of the MXT275. The new 500 series has a USB port for powering your devices like a cell phone. It's a welcome feature that eliminates one more plug for a cleaner setup.

The MXT575 is the perfect radio! The base unit tucks away nicely just about anywhere in your vehicle and because the handheld has all the control features I can easily unhook the handheld and store it away until I need to use it.

This radio exceeded my expectations in every way. Coming form CB and dabbing in GMRS, this unit is powerful and clear. Even using the included antenna works great as I have it setup inside my bronco under the hard top and still performs under these less than ideal conditions. I wish it was a little smaller as it did not fit where I wanted it. But for the performance, I can see why it has a large foot print. The brain is under my seat and the speaker is loud enough to my ear.

This is my 5th Midland GMRS radio. I have a Midland GMRS radio in everyone of my vehicles and I was super excited to get the MXT575 to upgrade into my Jeep over the MXT275 and it has definitely been worth the wait. I live in a mountain valley and spend a lot of time up in the mountains and the range of this radio is amazing. Both the transmission and reception is clear, concise and loud. Not only can you really reach out and touch someone but even the reception coming back is clearer with no static or dead spots. Our jeep club runs all MXT275 Midland radios and after seeing the range and clarity of my MXT575 they are all planning on upgrading to the MXT575. The range is so good that I even plan on getting the MXT500 to use as a home base so I can stay in touch with my house when we are in the mountains in case of an emergency. This radio WILL NOT disappoint!

Upgraded our original MXT275 with this new MXT575… the extra power - wow, 50w goes a long way. We love it!
Having all the controls within “finger reach” is super convenient, and definitely saves space in the cabin. Perfect for smaller vehicles or if you just like the clean look like we do.

Recieved my radio quickly after it was released. Wanted a clean look in my truck and simple radio for off roading. Mounted this under my rear seat and install was supet simple. Ran everything to the front and now i can control everything from the handset when its plugged in.
