Clean, easy to use with split repeater tone capable. I like the speaker options of the handheld speaker only to the unit only or both. Adaptable to fit your environment. Clear, strong signal whether ur on a 5 watt channel or a 50 watt channel. Great job midland.

This is my 5th Midland GMRS radio. I have a Midland GMRS radio in everyone of my vehicles and I was super excited to get the MXT575 to upgrade into my Jeep over the MXT275 and it has definitely been worth the wait. I live in a mountain valley and spend a lot of time up in the mountains and the range of this radio is amazing. Both the transmission and reception is clear, concise and loud. Not only can you really reach out and touch someone but even the reception coming back is clearer with no static or dead spots. Our jeep club runs all MXT275 Midland radios and after seeing the range and clarity of my MXT575 they are all planning on upgrading to the MXT575. The range is so good that I even plan on getting the MXT500 to use as a home base so I can stay in touch with my house when we are in the mountains in case of an emergency. This radio WILL NOT disappoint!

Much better than the weaker radios. It really gets out there and is clear as as a bell. It is larger than the 15 watt and less radios. It does require a heavier wire harness and uses 15 amp fuses instead of 5 amp. Overall a great radio.
