Do not Buy!

Bought this refrigerator on February 2021 and have had 3 service calls for the same issue. The heading element stops working and refrigerator freezes and stops distributing the cool air until it no longer cools. I can disconnect and let it defrost and it will work for 2-3 weeks. Item no longer under warranty and I'll be purchasing a new one and staying away from Whirlpool. Zero help from their customer service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

It does not dispense cold water.
Under the door it looks like a piece of trim is missing.
Shelves not as adjustable as they could be.
Pros:
Well lit.
Roomy
I would recommend this to a friend!

Third time is the charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second refrigerator. Replacement. Or the 3rd refrigerator since August. This one seems to be working properly. It doesn’t sound like my vacuum cleaning running all the Time and it hasn’t frozen my eggs. The doors fit tightly and is not forming ice crystals on the freezer side.

Beware: my WRS588FIHB went out after 30 months

I purchased the model WRS588FIHB fridge. Seemed to be a great at first. Dimensions, geometry, look, storage all are good. However, after only 30 months, both the fridge and freezer are out. I’ve never heard of a fridge going out that quick. Whirlpool only offers a 1-year warranty so there’s nothing that can be done. I would not recommend this fridge.

Don't buy.. Cheaply made and noisy..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had it a week.....Noisy throughout the day. Plastic rollers for the drawers. On the side of the glass shelves they don't have a covers so not to cut hands when pulling them out to clean and breakage. Automatic water filler, when pressing the button to designate the ounces if doesn't work well. I will go back to Kitchen Aid.

Whirlpool used to make a quality product

Third breakdown in 5 years. This refrigerator was supposed to replace the previous Whirlpool which we only owned for a few years and also had multiple issues. I was told I would need to pay for another service call to fix the same issue that was "fixed" earlier this year (ice maker not working) OR I could get a loyalty coupon to purchase another refrigerator.
Fool me twice...
This is an amendment to yesterday's post. Today, this FOUR YEAR OLD fridge died. Yes... FOUR YEARS OLD. This makes TWO of your "top of the line" models completely dying between October 11, 2021 and October 15, 2025. Even in today's disposable world this is completely unacceptable. I accepted the "loyalty coupon" last time, but NOT this time. Either refund my purchase 100% or give me a free replacement. That is the ONLY reply I want, not a boilerplate expressing how sorry you are and for ME to contact YOU on Facebook or Instagram. I will find EVERY site, message board and chat group I can to spread this story until I hear back. Starting now.
This is obviously a flawed design. I've seen dozens of stories just like mine, so I know it's not just me. This product should be removed from the market immediately.
