Don't buy if you like your ice maker to work

One week after the year warranty went out the ice maker stopped working. According to the service person we had out, it was a design flaw where the electrical for the icemaker runs along the bottom of the freezer compartment - he could fix, but we would have the same issues over and over again. Whirlpool - this is what you do for a living...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible! Don’t buy it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t buy it! It’s worth fridge ever. It has humming noise that gets loud. I called Whirlpool and the rep said the noise is due due to compressor and is normal. The rep said there is additional component that will make the noise quieter but you have buy it. I spent a lot of money on fridge then she had the nerve to tell me the extra compartment will cost extra. The rep was not helpful at all. Don’t buy it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very poor quality

Complete junk. In 4 years I have replaced the part that provides cool air to the frig 4 times. Parts are very poor quality. Everything freezes in the frig. I have lost so much food. Never will buy Whirlpool again. Also- freezer is extremely small.

Quality aint what it used to be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two drawers one in freezer and one in fridge are not correct, and in fact may be broken. Still have to call in for service. The sensor attachments inside the unit are also not flush with the cabinet interior and there are gaps. Ain't touching them because do not want to harm operation. Keeps food cold/frozen good. Makes weird noises which I assume are defrost cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!
