Our new Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We took delivery 2 weeks ago. We miss the top door covered tray for butter dish, cheese slices and medications. Also miss the wine rack that hung from the right edge of the top shelf. It was very handy for a bottle of wine or small left-over items. Wine rack from our 18-year old KitchenAid wouldn't attach to your top shelf. Ice cubes are slightly smaller and different shaped. They melt much faster than cubes from old icemaker in the door. Sadly, it takes 4+ days to fill the Ice bucket in the door when no ice is being used. Our old refrigerator with the same size ice storage bucket, took only 2 days. We never had to worry about running out of ice when just 2 friends came over to spend a weekend with us. Now we run out and have to supplement our ice supply. And yes, we did set your ice to "rapid recovery". The shelves in the new refrigerator do NOT offer as much adjustability for the shelves. With the old KitchenAid, we were able to adjust the shelves in 2" increments so we could store numerous tall containers of wine, milk etc. on the top shelf. One last disappointment with our new refrigerator is the water dispensing hose needs to be 1/2-inch longer so that you can see it easily to refill a small-topped container like a soda-pop bottle without making a mess.
On the positive side, we like having about 2 cubic feet more storage space. The new refrigerator is not as tall but a few inches deeper to gain that storage space. And the overall inside lighting is brighter.

Great Refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this refrigerator for 8 months, and it's a good one that replaced a large, 20 year old Kenmore side-by-side. I shopped for a refrigerator for a good month before settling on this one and am happy with my choice. It has plenty of room in both sides and has no problem with keeping the food cold. The automatic water dispenser feature is excellent for filling bottles of water I take to work each day. The only 2 negative points I give is that the noise level when making ice is noticeable, and there are some areas on the left side that are colder than other areas, but the positive points of this refrigerator far outshine those 2 points.
I would recommend this to a friend!
