Purchased as a gift for family member for Xmas. Very little experience with the unit, but I can say that installation was extremely easy, and fast. The picture is very good and sound was excellent.

Worked well on my main PC right out of the box. Didn't work so well on my other PC...couldn't get the mic to engage when chatting in Skype.

Only had it for a week now but it works great. Sits firmly on top of my monitor. Camera needs less light than others I have tried. Solid microphones so people can hear me well. Satisfied.

Quite Satisfactory

I'm pretty happy with this webcam. It's nothing absolutely stunning (max resolution of 1080p30), but for it's given price, I quite like it. The only things keeping it from a 5 star rating is the limit on frame rate and resolution, the lack of adjustable focus, and especially the fact that I can't lock the support at a given angle. If I bump the stand at all, it shifts. I'd really like to see a way to hold it at a given angle, so you don't have to check it every time you use it. Being able to move the focus would be nice too... It's alright, but the highest focus point is a little behind where I sit, so I turn out a little blurry.
I will say though, the addition of a physical barrier that you can slide in front of the camera is nice, if you're at all concerned about people watching you through it.

Bought for online schooling for my youngest. Good picture, easy to install and use. Really like the shutter that covers camera when not in use.

No Video less than 3 months in

The camera worked well for just over two months then without warning the video stopped working completely. Just a black screen now while the microphone still works. Waiting for tech support to get back to me. Not impressed so far.

Focusing issue

Bought this webcam for my online proctoring but ended up having to return it because it wouldn't focus on my student ID, which is needed for the test. Overall the microphone was good and the camera was okay for overall video. I also liked the security cover and how easy it was to set up. Go ahead and get it if you need it for skype or zoom calls, but don't get if you need it to focus in on any type of ID or wording.

Decent Webcam if you get a deal

For $70, this was cheapest branded webcam.
Image quality: Image clarity is good although the colors were off. One needs to install its software and adjust the color, saturation, hue etc. to get reasonable picture quality. Out of the box the colors were not calibrated well.
Logitech Webcam (from 4years ago) was way superior out of the box and had better build and picture quality, although it cost me around $100 then.
This webcam's privacy cover is loose and made of cheap plastic. I would say the price should be around CAD $40-$50 for this quality.
Webcam technology has moved at snail's pace since so many years, and companies are just selling same junk year after year with hardly any improvement. At present times, they are reaping the benefit due to remote work at mass level. Price of Logitech webcam is through the roof >$300 for a 4-5 year old model. Imagine buying a phone from 2015-16.:)
