More Work Than It's Worth

The teleprompter function itself works wonderfully. I really enjoy the ability for the text to be synced with my voice and move at a speed that works for my cadence. My issue mostly lies with the software that you HAVE to download to make full use of the prompter. Firstly, when using the chat function, you've got a 30/70 chance that it connects to your chat on the first attempt. If that doesn't work, you'll have to keep closing out of the software to hopefully get it to catch. But my biggest issue is that even when you turn the prompter off using the software, it's still connected and recognized by your computer as an additional screen. Which means, from time to time, windows and programs will shift to the teleprompter as it's off. It's usually a nuisance to have to open the program to turn on the screen to grab the window. It becomes a bigger problem when the actual program window navigates to the prompter screen. Not even closing the window or program will fix this until you go into your control panel and disconnect the screen. Unplugging the prompter will push whatever is on the prompter screen to one of your other monitors. Meaning, if the prompter is off and you unplug it, you have a prompter sized black screen in the corner of one of your other screens...until you disconnect the device from the control panel.

Add arabic language to voice detection

Expanding the voice sync languages to arabic with different arabic accent would expand you sales in the middle east region, such a huge market you still missing, please add Arabic language as soon as you could

More value than you can imagine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the elgato Prompter since it was launched, and I can tell you no other product has had as much impact on my content. I've been hosting TV for the past 25 years and started streaming 3 years ago. I've gone through many prompters over the years and elgato finally got it done right with a prompter that is easy to use and brings huge value right from the get go. My content relies on very detailed editorial, so to have all the info in front of my main camera gives me the ability to deliver not only with confidence but also looking directly into the camera at all times creating a great connection with the audience and also creating a high-value perception as an expert. Also great to see that the elgato team has brought in a lot of new features through software that were highly requested from users. With my current setup using prompter the only thing I don't have when compared to my broadcast work is a director/producer in my ear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Se että pystyn laittamaan osallistujat Prompteriin ja puhumaan suoraan kameralle ja näkemään muiden naamat samaan aikaan on auttanut todella paljon. Olenpa joskus saattanut katsoa myös Youtube videoita prompterin kautta.

The software ”Camera Hub” is not working at all ane the AI-generated support does not solve my problem. It means that I have an almost-there prompter just as a monitor..
