I love the cooling effect but wish there was some neck support. I ordered the free pillow cover that was offered but never received it. That was disappointing.

I see the purpose and it probably is cooler than a normal pillow. I'm not sure it's worth the price however, plus purchasing it in December isn't the best time to verify it actually has any true cooling effect. It's very heavy and dense and the way I sleep on my side with my arm under the pillow, it puts my shoulder to sleep. I'm sure that's more about me than the pillow however

Got this as a present. I was shocked as to how much it weighs. I move a lot at night and often my pillow moves with me. Not so much any more so I keep a feather pillow near by to hug and snuggle with and this pillow is only for resting my head

I have occipital neuralgia and ever since we bought these my headaches have decreased 90%. They are pricey but worth it.

My Favorite Pillow

I am a South Korean college student and for most of my life I used hard traditional Korean pillows. However, one day I decided to switch to a softer pillow but with a bit of firmness. After reading many reviews online I decided to jump the gun and buy this pillow. I never looked back. Using hard pillows for most of my life, it took some time adjusting to the softer plush of this pillow, however after two weeks of use there was no discomfort at all and sleeping on this pillow almost feels natural to me, similar to a nice pair of headphones where you forget that you're wearing them because they feel so comfortable. I live in Georgia and in the summertime the heat can get unbearable, often having to flip my pillow every 10-15 minutes to rest on the cool side. However this pillow keeps cool for most of the night and usually I fall asleep before the pillow turns warm (I actually don't know if they turn warm or not, because I'm a fast sleeper). Being able to sleep comfortably in the summer was a luxury that I've never known before and honestly, I can't imagine myself going back to my old pillows. All in all, this is a fantastic pillow, one that I will be using for the rest of college and beyond. Finding this pillow was like finding a hidden gem in a field. The only con for me was the price of the pillow (but I was expecting it to be pricey since it's Tempurpedic after all). This is the most expensive pillow investment that I've ever made in my life, but it was worth it; the pros far outweigh the con. I have been using this pillow for six months and I can confidently say that this is the best pillow that I've ever used in my life.
