They are dense and heavy, but in a good way. (We use a firm mattress as well). We also take them whenever we travel by car to ensure a good night's rest. If you are looking for a firm pillow that you don't have to keep fluffing, turning and adjusting, these are worth buying.

This pillow doesn't completely eliminate hot flashes, but it definitely helps! I'm not a fan of the king-sized ones, but the queen is perfect!
