The pillow is pretty firm, it's definitely comfortable but I would have prefer something on the softer side. The cooling gel only work a little, pillow get hot just like any other pillow.

I had not tested this pillow anywhere before purchase but I jumped in. When I received it I was shocked at how much it weighed coming out of the box..now I must tell you that i sell bedding..this pillow weighs a lot..being a side sleeper I thought I was in trouble with so much pillow as it is very high..but to my surprise it is very conforming with great depth almost like a plush pro adapt mattress..wow..oh did I mention the cooling feature..double awesome here in Arizona

Surprised how heavy the pillow is. (King size ) Quite firm, which I prefer. It does feel cool when I place my head down on the pillow. Slowly it warms up and eventually feels warm. If you relocate your head on the pillow it feels cooler again. Guess heat from one's head slowly transfers into the gel in the pillow. Not really a problem. I find it a comfortable pillow. I believe I toss and turn less now.

My super Cool pillow

Before I had this, I was not able get a good nights rest. This pillow allows to go into an extended REM cylcle, which allows to wake fully rested, mind and body. @thebestpillowinthegalaxy
