Neck pain

I bought this pillow because of the buy one get one free promo and was so excited to get this because of the great reviews but I used it the first time last night and it was so stiff it gave me neck pain. I had to get up at 3 am to get my old pillow because this one hurts my neck :(

Apparently Tempur-Pedic has changed their products dramatically since I purchased the first pillow from them almost 10 years ago. I purchased the first pillow for my mother who was ill and, I felt, needed a high quality pillow. She passed and I inherited the pillow and found it to be awesome, providing great support, comfortable, and not collapsing too quickly. Not the same with these pillows. My girlfriend likes it, but I do not. I planned to return both pillows but girlfriend wanted to keep one...so, the story goes, I still would like to return one of two. Sadly, I wanted to exchange it for a firmer pillow, but according to CSR helping me navigate web-page, there are no choices similar to the one I preferred, the one I purchased over ten years ago. You might like it, I did not.

The pillow I must admit has helped my sleep. But I constantly have to maneuver or flip it to get it back to comfort. "Cooling" aspect doesn't stay cool for long. Another reason for flipping.

This pillow helps me with my neck. It supports my neck no matter what side I sleep. Best pillow ever. I was given one 5 years ago and now I'm trying to figure out how to get another one. Because of my herniated discs in my neck. There isn't anything I don't like about it.

I have bought other pillows for way less that provide the same cooling that this does. The cooling itself does not last that long and if your looking for the pillow to stay firm, it does not. My head ends up sinking and at times I have to squish it to bulk up the pillow. Also be careful as this is not an item you can return.
