They are very heavy but I am not constantly adjusting them or flipping them over. Sleeps cool. Neck and shoulders no longer hurt.

Bought this for myself as a birthday gift and now I wake up with no more shoulder and back pain. The cooling feel took a bit getting used to, but now I love it. I will be buying a standard size for travel!

WHY did I not read all the reviews? They are sorted by highest rated, which is the least helpful. I don't care what anyone says, this pillow did nothing as far as cooling. I don't know why I keep believing that stupid gimmick. It also goes flat soon after laying on it, so it's terrible for me as a side sleeper. I ended up switching back to my old pillow. And the COST. Dear god what was I thinking? Even with the BOGO deal I had, it's just obnoxiously expensive. I'm 6' 170 lbs with average shoulders/build. I prefer medium softness and a fair amount of support. My wife, for what it's worth, loves the pillow. She is about 5'4" 110 lbs and a combo side and back sleeper. She didn't notice cooling features either. With all this said, the fact that there is no way to return means this pillow gets one star. Wish I could give it zero. No returns? Seriously?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our friend recommended these pillows to go with our new Tempurpedic bed and are we glad she did. Because of their size and bulk they take a while to get used to but they provide excellent comfort - and yes - even cooling to your face and neck. My wife was skeptical at first but now she is a believer like me and we are both sleeping much better.

This pillow is solid & of a decent height for most adults. It is cool when you start out, but thru the night it does absorb body heat. Again for most adults it will do it's job. But if you tend to radiate heat like I do, it may not give the desired cooling effect
