[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reviews sold this pillow. After reading that this pillow stays cold and this and that, I had to get a pair. I've only opened one and it doesn't stay cold for me. Like at all. I had to constantly flip it over to get that cooling effect and even that doesn't last. For the price point I expected an artic cool like feeling. The cooling doesn't really last also. I do like that its heavyish but that's about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned Tempurpedic products for over a decade, but the original generations didn't have many cooling properties. I was excited to try the newest addition to the product line. Let me get the 'bad' out of the way first: the outer-most layer has a gel cooling pad that doesn't extend around the entire pillow. I would like to see a 2.0 version increase the size of the pad. Other than that, it is a great addition to the bedroom. It is a medium feel that isn't too soft, but provides sturdy enough support. The cooling does work - it doesn't prevent the rest of your body from being hot, but you'll immediately be able to tell the difference if coming from pure foam or cotton. I find this pillow superior to other upstart companys' top offerings (I have several). Like my previous TP pillow, the high quality is immediately apparent and I'm very confident that this one will stand the test of time.
