Not good for side sleepers

Although the description says this pillow is suitable for side sleepers, I found myself waking up in the middle of the night due to neck and shoulder pain. I believe the material continued to compress after I fell asleep leaving me in an uncomfortable position and causing me to wake up in pain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
