this pillow is SO heavy and very dense.

I can not get over how heavy this pillow is. I have never had any pillow weigh this much and it is so dense that I cannot get comfortable. I am a side sleeper and I don't feel any support for my neck. My husband will not even use one so now I have 2 more pillows that neither one of us likes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am a chronic insomniac. I never thought a pillow would actually be an amazing benefit for my sleep! The pillows are cool to the touch. Once I take my medication for insomnia and put my head to the pillow, I fall asleep and stay asleep. Incredible sleep performance. Using the special buy, one get one free offer on the Tempur-pedic website we've been able to save a great deal of money and stack up six of these fantastic pillows. I don't toss and turn the Tempur-pedic pillow, cradles my head perfectly. Plus, I love the heft in these very solid pillows. Taking them out of the box was a treat. You can feel the quality when you lift them up. No other pillows for me unless it's a Tempur-pedic.

I have a mattress and the pillows. Since I bought both, I sleep better and I haven't no more pain in my spine where I have a hernia.

The pillow is nice and cool to start my sleep. It then retains the heat I have generated during cold nights thus making a very restful nights sleep.

I have no idea how it works, but it really is cooling to the touch. It still carries over through the pillow protector and your pillowcase too.
