[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my husband and I were looking for pillows, we searched in person but ended up online with the pillows that match our new mattress. I will say these pillows are fantastic for so many reasons: they cradle your head, relieve shoulder pressure for side sleepers (we're both petite), and the cooling WORKS! But the king size pillows are heavy, it's a bit of a workout to change the cases but that's to be expected with high quality. Where we went wrong was getting matching pillows instead of focusing on our individual needs; he likes a very firm pillow, and thinks this is a little too soft, but still comfortable and preferable to his old foam pillow; whereas I like a very soft pillow, and this one can feel a little too firm for back sleeping (again, being petite is a factor, I'm sure, since I'm not putting much pressure on it). We love these pillows, but if we were to spend $200+ on a pillow again, we might make more of a consideration on being "fitted" to one individually.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pillow has significant heft so it gives the impression of a quality product. However, it didn't work for me. Unfortunately, it cannot be returned either. The main problem is that pillow has too much give. Even though the height of the pillow is 5 inches, when you lay on it, the pillow compresses to less than half of that, which is not enough support for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm one of those people who brings their pillow with them on a roadtrip. I am also a person who forgets her pillow at hotels. This past summer, while on a 3-month road trip visiting friends, I found myself separated from my favorite pillow by hundreds of miles before realizing I'd left her behind. For the next month, I tried to sleep on the pillows provided at my well-meaning friend's houses (too squishy!) FINALLY, I decided to buy a new pillow. Of course my old one had been discontinued by Select Comfort, so I went with Tempurpedic's excellent TEMPUR-Cloud. I wish I would have bought one sooner.

Comfortable but not cooling

It is a very comfortable pillow but I feel like it retains heat instead of providing that cooling sensation. The immediate touch is cool but after about 2-5 minutes I feel like the heat that is sucked into the pillow now radiates through the inner foam. I also find the pillow somewhat on the firmer side and sometimes it would create a pressure point on the back of the head while sleeping on my back. I think I just had higher expectations for this pillow because of all the other reviews and YouTube videos I watched on it. It is comfortable and high in quality, but the ultimate comfort level I am looking for in a pillow, is just not there.

I must say I was using the purple pillow before this one which is very squishy and soft, so night and day difference. However, I wanted to give it a fair shot so I kept using it. Much to my surprise, each night I began to to like it more and more! I didn't have my usual neck and shoulder pain and I really loved the cooling pad. It definitely keeps me cooler throughout the night. So now I can say buy it! Highly recommend.
