A bit hard, but I got used to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a side sleeper and have a hard time finding a pillow soft enough for me, but also thick enough to support my head without my neck bending awkwardly. This pillow is thick enough, but it's also a bit hard. The first couple nights I slept in it, I hated it. Now that I'm used to it, it's ok. A positive is the memory foam cradles my ear, so I don't wake up with that smushed ear pain. Since the foam is hard, only after a long time does it give for your head, etc. if the foam had more give, I think it's be substantially more comfortable. If this pillow were just a little softer. I think I'd love it. I'm checking I wouldn't recommend it because most of my people like a softer pillow, but if someone likes a firm pillow and is a side sleeper, I would recommend to them.

I've been purchasing the sympthony pillow for years and this one is sadly different than the rest. It isn't as firm as the old one was. I'm extremely disappointed and now on the hunt for a new pillow.

Convert from feather pillows!

We've always slept on feather pillows so I was nervous about the tempur material being too firm, but they form to your neck/shoulder area so well! No longer waking up with neck and upper back pain!

Not what I expected

I bought a Tempur pillow several years ago and I was looking to replace it and get one for my husband who was always stealing mine. It was SO plush and you just melted into it as you fell asleep. For the longest time I would wake up with extremely painful ear aches and buying my original Tempur stopped that. But the "Symphony" pillow didn't even come close. It felt stiff and cheap by comparison. Wished I could return it...and would not recommend to others.

7 years and still amazing

I've had my Symphony pillow for over 7 years and it's still like I just bought it. It's soft yet supportive and I couldn't recommend this pillow enough.

I love the symphony pillow. I am a side sleeper and this pillow works very well for me. I love that it doesn't go flat and conforms around my head while supporting my neck and shoulders and you can use it for side, back and stomach sleeping positions. I think I finally found my perfect pillow! I highly recommend it! Thank you Tempurpedic for sending me this pillow to try!

Not the same Tempur-Symphony!

This was our fourth Tempur-Symphony pillow in the past 11 years and this one is much softer and not as dense as the other three Symphony pillows we've have/had. My husband is working out of town for the next year and wanted a Tempur-Symphony pillow for his apartment so he wouldn't have to bring his pillow home every weekend - that's how attached he is to this pillow! But the most recent purchase was very disappointing - it's not the same - they have changed it! We both love this pillow. I hate to start the process of finding a replacement!
