[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two sides to choose from, this pillow is versatile for side and back sleeping and different pillow preferences. One side is a bit stiff for side sleeping - and I'm not going to flip the pillow over in the middle of the night when I switch positions - but still, it's a great pillow overall. This review was made as an entry into the Temper-pedic sweepstakes.

Fails to deliver promise of performance, causing severe pain

My husband purchased the symphony pillow for me for Christmas based on faulty information provided on the webpage for the Symphony pillow. The site clearly indicates that this pillow is personalized comfort for all sleep positions. However, this is unequivocally false. After 1 use, I had serious neck pain in which I had to lay flat for 4 days to relieve the pain. Once my neck was feeling better I retried the pillow and again, am experiencing profound neck pain. Spoke to Tempurpedic and they will not accept the return as is their policy stated on the bottom of the webpage. The rep also informed me that there is a break in period for the pillow. When asked where to find this information, I was told, you must go to the FAQ page. That is, no where on the page for the Symphony pillow does it state that there is a break in period for the pillow to live up to it's promise. If we had this knowledge upfront, we would not have made this purchase as the amount of pain and recovery makes this pillow untenable for me. This is a disgraceful business practice and I am also filing a Better Business Bureau Complaint.

Tried one and found it really uncomfortable and had a sore neck in the morning. Contacted Customer Service and they said I could not return any of them, even the unopened ones. What kind of Return Policy is this? Be absolutely sure of what you buy from them, I won't be back.

I chose the symphony before it was soft and had great contour but when my pillow arrived it was very firm and had an elevated center causing great discomfort. Tempur-pedic would not accept a return or exchange. As a result I am stuck with paying for an uncomfortable. Beware when buying something you will not be able to return it.
